What's the idea?

Schedule a first meeting of members.

And create a calendar infrastructure for meetings and activities.

Why does it matter?

We need synchronous space for discussing the co-op.

Who is it for?

All members

How might it work?

Could use the cloudron calendar app, available to all members, and make sure the weekly newsletter always draws from it.

Temporary provisions

Calendar app is installed
Member access is not set up
Created first member meeting there and shared ICS via Loomio

Option 1 (more participatory)

Create Portal script to keep all members as members of the Inference Cooperative calendar

Pro:

All members could add events

Con:

Creates a vector of abuse
May over-crowd the dashboard with an app that most users won't need to use

Option 2

Keep the calendar just for admins but share public link for the calendar.

Pro:

Simpler, members can sync the calendar through their calendar apps.

Con:

Would reinforce reliance on admins for all scheduling
